We do not accept tires, railroad ties, flammable, toxic, and/or hazardous material, thinners, lacquers, paints, paint filters, solvents, oils, oil filters, contaminated absorbents, asbestos, batteries, infectious waste, contaminated soils, fuels, inks, resins, car tires, car batteries, food wastes, adhesives or industrial drums to be placed in container. Any item containing refrigerant must be evacuated according to federal law before disposal.

Some of these materials include food waste, paints, flammable liquids, oils, gas, tires, car batteries, contaminated soils, and asbestos. There are several more, but you can consult with one of our customer service reps about the hazardous waste materials we do not accept for your area.

We are unable to haul away hazardous materials due to our lack of being able to dispose of them properly. We cannot specially care for them like they need to be cared for. There are very specific ways of ridding of hazardous materials that we just aren’t equipped to do.

Overfilled Containers

We cannot pick up a container if:
  • It is loaded above the top of the container.
  • Contains excessive amounts of extremely heavy waste material.
If your container is deemed overloaded, overweight or blocked by the driver:
  • You are responsible for the unload of the excess material.
  • A trip charge will be assessed to your account to cover operational costs

Hazards

To ensure a successful delivery or pickup please check the following:
  • Make sure no vehicles are blocking the delivery area
  • There are no low hanging power wires or tree limbs
  • There must be enough room to deliver the dumpster and the area must be level.

Heavy Debris

Our trucks can safely pickup and legally transport specific amounts of the following materials:
  • Concrete Asphalt: Approximately 10 cubic yards in a container.
  • Dirt/Sand: Up to 10 cubic yards in a 20 yard container.
  • Sheetrock: Up to a 20 or 30 yard filled container.
  • Brick: Weight can vary based on the type, we can haul approximately 10 tons.
