Can my dumpster rental sit on an incline?
For safety reasons, we can’t place roll off containers on hills. Steep slopes make filling your bin difficult and may present a safety concern for our driver. Choose a flat, paved surface for your dumpster. Your driveway usually works best for home-based projects, while construction sites should have a designated area for waste and recycling. Street placement is also a good option, but you might need a permit from Wayne Township first. When you rent a dumpster from our team, we’ll help you pick a delivery spot.
What can’t I dispose of in my roll off dumpster?
You can throw most debris in our roll off containers, but there are some prohibited items we can’t accept. This includes oil, asbestos, paint and household chemicals. We can’t haul away bulky objects like tires and railroad ties either. Not only do these materials raise health concerns at the landfill, but they may also damage your bin. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
