When I rent a dumpster, how do I prepare for delivery?
Choose a flat, paved space for us to drop off your roll off dumpster. Make sure the spot you choose is convenient for your project and accessible to our driver. We recommend your driveway for home projects, or a designated waste area for commercial jobs. We can also put your roll off container in the street, but you’ll need to contact Columbia County's Engineering Services Division for a permit. On the day of delivery, move any parked cars or other obstacles from the area. For more delivery tips, reach out to our team.
What can I put in my dumpster rental?
Our Martinez roll off dumpster service can haul a variety of household junk, yard waste and construction debris. We can also take mattresses and box springs for an extra. If you need to throw away any electronics, some of our roll off containers can take up to two items per bin. Our team will discuss with you what items you can toss. Please note there are some materials that can never go in a roll off container. Prohibited items include railroad ties, car tires, gasoline, paint and other flammable or hazardous waste materials. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
