Choosing the right dumpster rental for your cleanup can depend on a few factors:
It can be tricky to estimate how all your debris will stack up in a dumpster. It’s important to consider both the volume and weight of your materials. Check out the descriptions below for a dumpster size comparison to see our various containers and how much they can hold.
The 10 yard dumpster is our smallest dumpster rental size. It can accommodate small-scale cleanups since as an attic or basement cleanout and is often used for getting rid of heavier debris, such as concrete or brick.
Our 12 yard dumpster can help you clean up after any decluttering or single-room remodel project. It can accommodate small to mid-size jobs like a single-room home renovation, flooring removal or disposing of heavy debris like asphalt or dirt.
A 15 yard dumpster is great for small to mid-size residential and commercial jobs with bulkier materials. It can accommodate projects like a bedroom remodel, basement cleanout or community cleanup.
The 20 yard is our most popular dumpster rental size. It can haul away a variety of debris types from yard waste to roofing shingles. It can accommodate jobs from home cleanouts to light demolition projects.
Our 30 yard dumpster is best for tackling large-scale home or commercial cleanups. It can accommodate projects like a home addition, demolition job or estate cleanout.
A 40 yard dumpster is our largest size container in most markets. This size is a great fit for large-scale or long-term projects. It can accommodate jobs from commercial cleanouts to major home remodels.

A dumpster’s exterior is typically measured in feet, while its total volume is measured in cubic yards. To calculate the capacity of a dumpster, multiply its exterior dimensions in feet (length x width x height) together to get its volume in cubic feet. Then, divide that number by 27 to convert the measurement to cubic yards. We offer a wide range of residential dumpster sizes, so we can customize a recommendation specifically for your needs when you order.

Your dumpster rental should be placed on a flat, firm area, such as a parking lot or your driveway. Our delivery trucks require about 60 feet of space in a straight line and the placement location should be about 10.5 feet wide.
