Why does it cost more to dispose of certain materials?
Due to local mandates, you’ll incur additional fees if you throw mattresses or appliances in our roll off containers. These materials take longer for landfills and transfer stations to process, making them more expensive to throw away. Please note we never accept prohibited items like oil, asbestos, tires and household chemicals for safety reasons. If you have questions about anything our dumpster rentals can haul away, give us a call.
Where should I keep my roll off dumpster?
We should place your roll off container on a flat, paved surface near your work area. For home cleanouts and improvement projects, your driveway is typically best. On construction sites, keep the bin in a designated waste area set away from equipment and other potential obstacles. Short on space? You can have your dumpster on the street in front of or adjacent to your property, but you might need permission from Woodstock’s Public Works Department.
