Is there a right way to fill a roll off dumpster?
Safety is key when filling your roll off container. Don’t attempt to throw heavy or bulky items over the sides of the bin. Instead, walk them inside using the swinging door. We recommend loading these items first to make the most of the space in your dumpster rental. From there, you can toss smaller debris over the top of the container. Make sure nothing is draped over the sides and that your materials stay below the top of the walls before requesting pickup.
Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?
You don't need a permit to have your roll off container on private property, like your driveway or jobsite. If you're keeping your bin in the street or blocking the sidewalk, get a PODs/Dumpster Permit from the city of Bloomington in advance.
