Frequently Asked Questions

When I rent a dumpster, can I keep it on my property?

Yes, we can park your roll off dumpster on any flat, paved surface on your property. Your driveway is ideal for home-based projects. For construction sites, we recommend a designated waste area away from large debris. Be sure to move any vehicles, equipment or other obstacles out of the way before we deliver your dumpster rental. Our driver can deliver your roll off container to the street, but you may need a permit ahead of time. Contact Broussard’s Permitting/Licensing department for more information. You can also contact our team for more placement tips.

How many roll off dumpsters can I rent at once?

We don’t limit the number of roll off containers you can rent at one time, depending on availability. Our drivers can bring the bins together or stagger delivery. You can have them all delivered to the same location or across several jobsites as well. If you only have room for one bin at a time, ask about our empty-and-return service. This allows you to swap out your dumpster rental for a new one after you fill it up. Reach out to our team if you have any more questions.

How It Works

1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
