Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?
You do not need a permit if you plan to keep your dumpster rental on private property, such as in your driveway or on a construction site. If you need to place your roll off container directly on a street, sidewalk or other piece of public property, you may need to apply for a permit from the village of East Rochester Public Works Department.
