Do I need to be present for my dumpster delivery?
You do not need to be present for your dumpster rental delivery, unless your property is gated and would need to be unlocked for our driver. Just make sure the spot you’ve chosen for the dumpster is open for the entire day. If the roll off container will be in your driveway, you should park your cars on the street or in your garage. On construction sites, simply keep the delivery area clear of any equipment or debris.
Why can I only partially fill my dumpster rental with certain materials?
When getting rid of heavy debris such as brick or cement in Greater Chicago, you can only fill your roll off dumpster halfway to avoid exceeding its weight limit. Staying within the weight limit will ensure that our truck can remove the container. Not sure how much your materials weigh? Use our weight calculator to estimate the tonnage of your debris. Where should I place my roll off container?
When you call to rent a dumpster, we can discuss the best drop-off location for your project. Our containers should be kept on a smooth, flat surface, with no overhead obstacles. A driveway is normally the best spot for home projects. If you don’t have space in your driveway or if it’s on an incline, we may be able to place the dumpster on a street next to the property. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
