What should I do if it rains while I’m renting a dumpster?
In the case of a storm, cover your roll off dumpster with a tarp. Secure the tarp with bungee cords or straps to make sure it doesn't blow away. This will keep rainwater out of your bin. Standing water soaks absorbent materials, like dirt and carpet, adding unnecessary weight to your load.
