Is there a right way to load a roll off dumpster?
The best way to fill a dumpster is to walk your items inside through the loading door. This allows you to spread them throughout the bin and make the most of your dumpster’s space. Walk large, heavy materials into your dumpster rental first, and toss in lighter objects afterward. Make sure your items are all below the walls of your roll off container and nothing is hanging over the sides when you’re finished cleaning up.
Do I need to cover my dumpster rental if it rains?
Heavy rain can fill your roll off dumpster with standing water and saturate your debris, making the bin heavier than normal. Exceeding your container’s maximum weight limit will result in additional per-ton disposal charges, so we recommend covering your dumpster during a storm. The easiest way to cover your dumpster is to throw a tarp over the top and secure it using bungee cords so the wind doesn't blow it away.
Where should I keep my roll off dumpster?
If you’re using your dumpster rental for a home improvement project or cleanout, your driveway is usually the most convenient place to have it dropped off. On job sites, you should keep the bin in a designated waste and recycling area. Please note that our roll off containers need to be placed on a flat surface to ensure we can retrieve them after delivery. If there isn’t room for a dumpster on your property, street placement may be possible. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
