What should I do before my roll off container arrives?
Make sure your selected placement is clear and accessible for our truck and open any gates to your property. You do not need to be on-site when your dumpster rental arrives, but move cars and other obstacles to the street if the roll off dumpster will be in the driveway. If you need to keep your dumpster rental in the street, get permission from Pittsfield Township ahead of time.
When I rent a dumpster, what can I throw away?
We will haul away most types of debris, including household junk, yard waste and concrete. There are prohibited items you can never throw away in a dumpster, though. This includes tires, gasoline, paint, chemicals and other hazardous waste. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
