Do I need to be there when my roll off dumpster arrives?
No, you don’t have to be present for delivery. Just make sure our driver can drop off your dumpster rental without issue. If you’re completing a residential project, park your cars in the street or your garage and open any entry gates to your property. Working on a construction site? Move large equipment that could keep us from delivering your roll off container. While street placement is also a good option, check with the city of Sioux Falls to see if you need a permit first. What if it rains while I’m renting a dumpster?
If you see a storm brewing over the Big Sioux River, cover your roll off container. Throw a tarp over the top and secure it with bungee cords or tie-down straps so the wind doesn’t blow it away. Without a cover, standing water will pool in your bin and add weight to your load. This is especially true if you’re tossing dirt, carpet and other absorbent materials.
