When will my dumpster be delivered?
Our team will work with your schedule to set up a delivery window that’s convenient for your project. We can usually have your dumpster rental on-site within one to three business days, depending on the availability of your selected size. If you know you’ll need a roll off dumpster further in advance, we can also schedule your delivery a few weeks ahead of time.
How do you fill a roll off dumpster?
We recommend walking your heaviest items in through the dumpster door first. Doing this will also ensure you’re using all the space inside the roll off container, leaving no empty pockets. You can fill in the remaining space with any lighter materials, either by walking them through the door or simply tossing them over the side. Make sure all of your debris is below the top of the dumpster with nothing draped over the sides.
Do I need a permit to place a dumpster on my property?
You do not need a permit to have a dumpster dropped off on private property, such as in your driveway. If you choose to place your dumpster on a street or blocking a sidewalk, you will need to apply for an Encroachment Permit from the city of Berkeley.
