How should I get ready for my dumpster rental delivery?
Ensure the drop-off area is free of obstacles and accessible to our driver. For driveway placement, you can lay down plywood to protect the surface from scratches or use chalk to mark the delivery spot. On construction sites, make sure there’s a waste area away from equipment for your bin. If you’re planning to keep your roll off container in the street, you may need a permit before delivery. Contact Charleston’s Public Works Department for details. We’ll offer more delivery preparation tips when you rent a dumpster.
Why can I only fill my roll off dumpster halfway with certain debris?
If your junk removal project includes heavy debris, like brick, asphalt or concrete, you can only partially fill your dumpster rental with them. This is because your roll off container has a weight limit that you must stay under to avoid an extra fee. If your bin gets too heavy or you overfill it, our driver cannot safely remove it. How It Works
1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
