Where should my roll off dumpster go?
Keep your dumpster rental on a flat, paved surface that’s wide enough for our truck to fit through. Your driveway is usually the best option for home cleanouts and improvement projects. On construction sites, we should place your roll off container in a designated waste area away from equipment. Street placement works too, but you might need a permit from the village of St. Joseph’s Public Works Department before delivery. Reach out if you need help choosing a drop-off location.
What if it rains while my dumpster rental is on-site?
Cover your roll off dumpster if you’re expecting inclement weather during your cleanup. Throw a tarp over the top and secure it with bungee cords or tie-down straps so the wind doesn’t blow it away. If you don’t, standing water will pool in your roll off container and make your load heavier. This is especially true if you’re tossing dirt, carpet and other absorbent materials. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
