When I rent a dumpster, where can I keep it?
Your roll off dumpster should sit on a flat, paved surface free of obstacles. For residential projects, your driveway is ideal. Move vehicles to the garage or street before your dumpster rental delivery. On jobsites, keep your bin in a designated area away from equipment and other potential obstacles. Street placement may be an option if you don’t have enough room on your property. Contact Dover Township’s Public Works Department to ask about permitting and any other requirements before ordering your roll off container. Not sure where to keep your dumpster? Can I get more than one dumpster rental?
We don’t limit the number of roll off dumpsters you can rent at one time, depending on availability. You can have them all delivered to the same location or across several jobsites. If you only have room for one bin at a time, ask about our empty-and-return service. This will allow you to swap out your dumpster rental for a new one after you fill it up. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
