What if I don’t have room in my driveway for my roll off dumpster?
If your driveway or jobsite doesn't have the space to keep your dumpster rental, we can deliver your bin to the street. But you may need a permit ahead of time. Check with the city of Eldridge's Public Works Department for permitting information. If you need a permit, be sure to get it after you order your roll off container and before it's delivered. Wherever you decide to keep your dumpster, make sure the area is flat, paved and accessible to our driver. Our team can also help you find the right spot if you're not sure.
What if it rains while I’m renting a dumpster?
If it rains during your dumpster rental period, cover your bin with a tarp. Secure the tarp with bungee cords or straps so it doesn't blow away. Rainwater can make absorbent materials, like dirt and carpet, heavier, which could cause you to go over your container's weight limit. Landfills charge disposal costs by the ton. So, going over your weight limit results in a per-ton overage fee. Covering your roll off dumpster should help you avoid any overage fees due to rainwater. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
