Where should I keep my roll off dumpster?
Choose a delivery spot that’s flat, paved and wide enough for our truck to fit through. If you’re completing a home improvement or junk removal project, your driveway is usually the best option. On construction sites, we can park your roll off container in a designated waste area away from equipment and other potential obstacles. Street placement is possible, but contact La Salle’s Public Works Department in advance to see if you need a permit.
Should I cover my dumpster rental when it rains?
We recommend covering your roll off dumpster if you’re expecting rain. This will help you avoid standing water and saturated debris in your bin, which will make the load heavier than normal. Exceeding your dumpster’s maximum weight limit will result in an overage charge. To prevent rain from getting in your bin, place a tarp over the top and secure it with bungee cords so the wind doesn’t blow it away.
