Is there a correct way to load my dumpster rental?
We recommend walking in the larger and heavier items first so you can guarantee that you’re efficiently using the container’s space. When you’re loading your roll off dumpster with heavy materials, make sure to space them throughout the bin to keep weight distribution even. Then, you can throw smaller, lighter objects over the sides or walk them in as needed. Do not overfill the container, and make sure none of your items are draped over the sides to avoid additional fees.
Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?
You do not need a permit if you plan to keep your dumpster rental on private property, such as your driveway or jobsite. If you need to place your roll off container on a street, sidewalk or other piece of public property, you will need to apply for a Right-of-Way Permit from the city of Lee’s Summit.
