What can I dispose of with my dumpster rental?
Our roll off containers can haul away home clutter, drywall, yard waste and more. We also accept appliances and electronics, but you may incur additional fees due to local mandates. These materials take longer for landfills and transfer stations to process, making their disposal more expensive. For safety reasons, you can never throw oil, paint, asbestos and other prohibited items in a roll off dumpster. If you have questions about the debris you’re tossing, give us a call.
When I rent a dumpster, where should it go?
Keep the roll off container on a flat, paved surface close to where you’re working. Your driveway is usually the most convenient spot for home improvement and decluttering projects. On construction sites, the bin should be placed in a designated waste area set away from debris and other potential obstacles. Street placement is also an option if you’re short on space, but you might need permission from Olathe’s Public Works Department.
