When I rent a dumpster, where should it go?
Have your dumpster rental delivered to a flat, paved spot close to where you’re working. Your driveway is usually best for projects at home. For construction jobs, we recommend picking a dedicated waste and recycling area for your roll off container. Be sure to move all vehicles, equipment and other obstacles from your drop-off area. We can deliver your roll off dumpster to the street, but you may need a permit from the town of Onondaga ahead of time. Should I cover my dumpster rental?
We recommend covering your roll off dumpster in public areas to keep others from tossing in debris. Covering your bin is also a good idea if you’re expecting rain. Standing water will pool in the container and make your load heavier, particularly if you’re tossing dirt, upholstered furniture and other absorbent materials. Each of our roll off containers has a set weight limit, and exceeding it will result in an overage fee. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
