You don’t have to, but marking the drop-off location ensures we place your roll off container exactly where you want it. We recommend using plywood, traffic cones or colored tape as indicators. Where should I keep my dumpster rental?
Keep the roll off dumpster on a flat, paved surface near your home or jobsite. For residential projects, your driveway is usually the most convenient location. If you’re in commercial construction, the bin should be placed in a designated waste area away from equipment and other potential obstacles. You can also opt for street or sidewalk placement, but you’ll need a Traffic Control Permit from the city of Colorado Springs. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
