What if it storms during my dumpster rental period?
Cover your roll off dumpster if you’re expecting inclement weather during your cleanup. Secure a tarp over your bin with bungee cords or tie-down straps so the wind doesn’t blow it away. If you don’t, standing water will pool in your roll off container and add weight to absorbent materials such as dirt, carpet and upholstered furniture. Remember your dumpster has a weight limit and going over it will result in an extra fee. Reach out if you need help preparing for rain or snow during your rental period.
Should I get a permit for my roll off dumpster?
If you’re planning to keep your dumpster rental in the street or blocking the sidewalk, get a Sidewalk Obstruction Permit before delivery day. Contact the village of Angola to apply for one. You can keep your container on private property, like your driveway or jobsite, without a permit of any kind. When you rent a dumpster from our team, we’ll walk you through the permitting process.
