Check with Bountiful City's Streets, Sanitation & Recycling Department to see if you need a permit. You can lay down plywood or set up cones to mark the drop-off area, but it's optional. What can I throw away in my dumpster rental?
Our Bountiful dumpster service can haul a variety of waste. We can take household junk, like clothing, chairs, pots and pans. You can also toss yard waste, like leaves and dirt, if you're doing a landscaping project. Or, you can throw away construction debris, like lumber, bricks and asphalt. It's important to note some materials never go in a roll off dumpster. Prohibited items include railroad ties, car tires, gasoline, paint and other flammable or hazardous waste materials. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
