Can my roll off dumpster sit on an incline?
For safety reasons, we can’t place dumpster rentals on hills. Steep slopes make filling your bin difficult and present a safety hazard for our driver. Choose a delivery spot that’s flat, paved and close to your work area. Your driveway is usually the best option for home-based projects, while construction sites should have a designated waste area for waste and recycling. Street placement is also a good option, but you might need a permit from the city of Des Peres first. Still not sure where your roll off container should go? Reach out for a recommendation.
What if it rains while I’m renting a dumpster?
Cover your bin if you’re expecting rain or snow during your dumpster rental period. Throw a tarp over the top and secure it with bungee cords or tie-down straps so the wind doesn’t blow it away. 4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
