When I rent a dumpster, where should it go?
Have your bin delivered to a flat, paved surface close to your work area. Your driveway is ideal for residential projects. On construction sites, choose a drop-off area away from equipment and other potential obstacles. If there are no paved surfaces nearby, our team will work with you to find the best spot for your roll off container. You may need a permit from the city of Florence’s Public Works Department for us to park your roll off dumpster in the street. We’ll help you with the permitting process when you contact us.
What can’t I toss in my dumpster rental?
We haul most types of household junk, yard waste and construction debris in our roll off containers but don’t allow certain items — up to and including bits of exploded whale. Don’t put flammable or hazardous waste materials in your roll off dumpster. This includes household chemicals, asbestos, paint and other dangerous materials. These items raise safety concerns at the landfill and can damage your bin. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
