Do I need to be there when my dumpster is delivered?
You don’t need to be at your home or jobsite when your dumpster rental arrives, unless you need to open a gate or move a potential obstacle for the driver. However, on delivery day, you should make sure the drop-off location is clear and not blocked by cars or anything else that could prevent us from from placing the dumpster.
How should I load my roll off dumpster?
The best way to load your dumpster is to walk items inside through the loading door. This way, you can spread them evenly throughout the bin and make full use of its space. You should walk your larger, heavier items in first. Then, you can walk in smaller, lighter items or toss them in over the side. When you’re finished filling your dumpster rental, make sure all your debris is below the container walls to ensure a safe pickup.
Do I need a permit for my dumpster rental?
You won't need a permit to keep the dumpster on your own property. But if you want to place it in the street, you should contact the city of Forest Lake to see if you need a permit.
