Do I need to cover my dumpster if it rains?
Storm rolling in over White Bear Lake during your rental period? If it rains while your roll off dumpster is on-site, covering the bin can help you avoid adding weight from standing rainwater or from absorbent materials soaking up moisture. You can cover your container with a tarp and secure it with straps or bungee cords so it won’t blow away.
How do you load a dumpster?
The best way to fill your roll off container is to walk items inside through the loading door. We recommend walking your largest, heaviest items in first. You should try to spread these evenly throughout the bin to distribute weight and make full use of the space. Then, you can walk in smaller, lighter items or toss them over the side. When you’re finished cleaning up, make sure all your debris is below the dumpster walls and that nothing is draped over the side.
Will I need a permit for my dumpster rental?
If you are placing your dumpster on private property, you will not need a permit. However, you may need a Right-of-Way permit for your roll off dumpster if it’s being placed on the street. 1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
