How should I prepare for my roll off dumpster delivery?
On the day of delivery, make sure the drop-off location is clear and accessible. Unlock any necessary gates. Move parked cars, large equipment and other obstacles to another area. Be sure there aren't any hanging wires or tree branches over the delivery spot. You also have the option to lay down plywood or set up cones to mark the spot for our driver. If you plan to keep your dumpster rental in the street, check with the town of Gorham's Public Works Department to see if you need a permit.
What should I do if it rains while I’m renting a dumpster?
Cover your roll off dumpster with a tarp if it rains during your rental period. Then, secure the tarp with bungee cords so it doesn't blow away. By covering your dumpster rental, you'll prevent rainwater from pooling inside. Standing water and absorbent materials, like dirt and carpet, will add weight to your bin. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
