How should I prepare for delivery of my roll off dumpster?
Before delivery day, clear the drop-off area of any obstacles, like parked cars and large equipment. Unlock any necessary gates for our driver, and make sure there aren't any low-hanging branches or wires over the delivery spot. You can lay down plywood or set up cones to mark the spot, but it's not mandatory. If you plan to keep your dumpster rental in the street, you may need a permit ahead of time. When I rent a dumpster, is there a right way to load it?
Start with your heavier and bulkier items first. Walk them through the dumpster door, spreading them evenly throughout the roll off dumpster to use the space efficiently. You can also use a wheelbarrow to collect debris like dirt and concrete and roll it inside. Then, throw lighter materials in over the sides to fill in any gaps.
