Do I need to be present for my roll off dumpster delivery?
No, you don’t need to be there when we deliver your roll off container. Just be sure to open any gates to your property ahead of time and clear the drop-off area of potential obstacles. You can lay down plywood or use traffic cones to mark the drop-off spot, but it’s not required. Planning on street placement for your dumpster rental? You may need a permit before delivery. Contact Hickory’s Public Services Department for permitting information. If you have more questions about dumpster delivery, reach out to us.
Can I rent more than one dumpster rental at a time?
Yes, there’s no limit to the number of dumpsters you can order at once, as long as we have inventory available in your local area. Tell us if you want the roll off dumpsters delivered at the same time or prefer staggered drop-offs. We can deliver to different locations if you're working at more than one jobsite. When you rent a dumpster, simply let our team know that you’d like multiple containers.
Will my roll off container have a door?
Each of our dumpster rentals has a swinging door to make loading debris easy. Use the door to walk in large or heavy items. You can also collect debris in a wheelbarrow and roll it through the door for emptying. Distribute items evenly throughout the roll off dumpster to use space efficiently. Before requesting pickup, be sure to close the door and secure it.

1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
