What should I do before my dumpster rental arrives?
After you've scheduled your roll off dumpster delivery, you'll need to make sure the drop-off area is clear of any obstacles. If you plan on keeping the container in your driveway, move any vehicles to your garage or the street and make sure all gates are open. On construction sites, simply keep the drop-off location clear of any equipment or debris. Check out our delivery guidelines for more tips.
Do I need to cover my dumpster if it rains?
Heavy Florida rains can fill your roll off dumpster with standing water and drench your debris, making the bin heavier than normal. Exceeding your container’s maximum weight limit may result in additional charges, so covering your bin can help you avoid this. The easiest way to cover your dumpster is to throw a tarp over the top and secure it using bungee cords so the wind doesn't blow it away.
Where should my roll off dumpster be placed?
When you call to rent a dumpster, we’ll discuss the best drop-off location. Roll off dumpsters should be kept on a smooth, flat surface, with no overhead obstacles that would get in the way of our truck. A driveway is typically the best spot for homeowners. If you don’t have space in your driveway or if it’s on an incline, we may be able to place the dumpster on a street adjacent to your property. If street placement is the best option for your dumpster rental, contact the Public Works department to see if a permit is required in your area.

1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
