Where should I keep my roll off container?
Choose a flat, paved surface close to your work area. Ensure it’s free of vehicles and other obstacles, and is accessible for our driver. A driveway is usually most convenient for home projects. On commercial sites, place your dumpster rental in a parking lot or designated work area. If you’re short on space, we can place your roll off dumpster in the street, but you may need a permit from South Miami's Public Works & Engineering Department. Not sure where to keep your bin? Do I need to cover my dumpster rental if it rains?
Yes, we recommend covering your roll off dumpster to keep your debris dry. Rainwater will add weight to absorbent materials such as upholstered furniture, carpet and dirt. Water can also pool in the bin, adding excess weight. Remember, your dumpster has a weight limit specified in your quote. Exceeding it will result in extra charges. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
