Should I cover my roll off dumpster if it rains?
Storm coming in off the coast? Cover your roll off container to prevent standing water and keep your debris dry. Excess moisture can add weight to absorbent materials, like dirt, and may result in overage charges. We recommend draping a tarp over your bin and securing it with bungee cords or tie-down straps. Where should I keep my dumpster rental?
Choose a flat, paved surface for an easy roll off dumpster delivery. If you’re working at home, your driveway is usually most convenient. On construction sites, you should keep your bin in a designated waste area set away from equipment and debris. Street placement is also possible, but you’ll need an Encroachment Permit from the city of La Mesa. When you call to order, we’ll find a suitable spot for your roll off container.
