What should I have ready when I rent a dumpster?
Make sure your drop-off location is clear and accessible for your roll off dumpster. Keep your container on a flat, paved surface, like a driveway. Move any vehicles in the garage or in the street before your bin arrives. Laying down plywood helps protect your driveway from damage. On construction sites, pick an area that’s clear of equipment and other obstacles. If you need to keep your dumpster rental in the street, contact Orange County Permits and Licenses for information. What can I put in my dumpster rental?
Our roll off containers haul most types of debris. This includes household junk, and certain types of yard waste and mixed debris. Some of our dumpsters also take electronics and appliances for an extra fee. Do not put flammable or hazardous waste materials in your roll off dumpster. This includes household chemicals, asbestos, paint and other dangerous materials. How It Works
1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
