Where should I keep my dumpster rental?
A flat, paved surface that’s close to your work area is best. Choose a spot that’s accessible to our driver and free of low-hanging branches. If you’re working at home, your driveway is usually ideal. On construction sites, choose a designated waste area away from large equipment. We can also drop off your roll off container to the street, but you may need a permit ahead of time. Reach out to Mobile’s Permitting Department for details. What debris can I toss in my roll off dumpster?
Our dumpster rental service accepts a large variety of household clutter, construction debris and yard waste. You can also throw appliances, electronics, mattresses and box springs into our bins. However, some prohibited items can never go in a roll off container. This includes hazardous or flammable materials like pesticides, motor oil, paint, gasoline, tires and railroad ties. Should I cover my roll off container when it’s not in use?
When you finish working, we recommend covering your bin with a tarp secured by bungee cords. This prevents passersby from tossing items into your bin. It will also keep out rainwater in the event of a storm. Standing water can add excess weight to your bin. If you go over your roll off dumpster’s weight limit, it results in an extra fee. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
