How should I load up my roll off dumpster?
Avoid throwing heavy objects into the bin. Instead, walk them in through the door or use a wheelbarrow to roll them inside. After you’ve loaded the big items, you should then throw any remaining smaller items in around it. Finally, make sure there is no debris hanging over the side of your dumpster, and that nothing piles above the top of the container before your scheduled pickup.
Do I need to get a permit to park my roll off dumpster in the street?
If you plan on keeping your dumpster rental somewhere that will block street traffic, you will most likely need to acquire a permit beforehand. Otherwise, if you have a driveway, parking lot or some other firm, level surface where you can keep your dumpster, you will not need a permit. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
