Do I need a permit for my dumpster rental?
If you’re parking your roll off dumpster on any property for more than 72 consecutive hours, you’ll need a Dumpster Permit from the village of Palm Springs. We can’t place your roll off container within a utility easement, drainage easement, right-of-way or front yard. We recommend keeping your bin on a level, paved surface, such as your driveway. Reach out to our team if you have any questions about permits or placement.
Should I cover my roll off dumpster if it rains?
Secure a tarp over your roll off container with bungee cords or tie-down straps if you’re expecting inclement weather. Rain can soak through absorbent materials and make them heavier. Remember that your bin has a weight limit included in your price when you rent a dumpster. Exceeding that allowance will result in a fee.
