Is there a right way to load a roll off container?
The best way to fill a dumpster is to walk your items inside through the swinging loading door. This allows you to evenly spread them out and make the most of your bin’s space. You can also use a wheelbarrow to collect your debris and roll it inside the container to empty it. Make sure your materials are all below the walls of your roll off dumpster and that nothing is draped over the sides.
Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?
You do not need a permit if you plan to keep your dumpster rental on private property, such as your driveway or a jobsite. If you need to place your roll off container directly on a street, sidewalk or other piece of public property, you will need to apply for a Right-of-Way Permit from the city of Smithville.
