How should I prepare for my roll off dumpster?
Make sure your delivery location is free of obstacles before arrival. Move cars to the garage or street and open any entry gates to your property. On construction sites, make sure the selected spot is clear of equipment and debris. If you’re keeping your roll off container in the street, check with the city of St. Augustine Beach’s Public Works Department to see if you need a Right-of-Way Permit. Do I need to cover my dumpster rental?
We recommend covering your roll off dumpster in public areas to keep others from tossing debris in your bin. If it rains, you’ll also want it covered to keep materials from absorbing water. Both situations will add unnecessary weight to your bin. Each dumpster has a weight limit, and exceeding that limit may result in a fee. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
