Should I be there when my roll off dumpster arrives?
As long as we can drop off your dumpster rental without issue, you don’t have to be present for delivery. Just make sure the placement location is open and accessible for our driver. This means opening entry gates to your property and moving potential obstacles out of the way. If you’re working at home, move any cars out of your driveway. On construction sites, clear the area of equipment and debris. We can also park your roll off container in the street, but you might need a permit from Ormond Beach first. What if it rains during my dumpster rental period?
Cover your bin if you’re expecting storms while renting a dumpster. Throw a tarp over your container and secure it with bungee cords or tie-down straps so the wind doesn’t blow it away. If you don’t, standing water will pool in your roll off dumpster and add weight to absorbent materials. This includes dirt, carpet and upholstered furniture. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
