How should I prepare for my roll off dumpster delivery?
On delivery day, open any gates to your property and clear the drop-off spot of any obstacles. Mark the delivery area with traffic cones, colored tape or chalk, if you like. You can also lay down plywood to protect the pavement from unwanted scrapes and scratches. Planning to keep your dumpster rental in the street or blocking a sidewalk? What can I toss in my dumpster rental?
You can throw away most household clutter and construction debris in our roll off containers. We also accept yard waste, appliances, electronics, mattresses and box springs in some of our bins. Be aware there are certain prohibited items you can’t toss into your roll off dumpster. This includes tires, gasoline, paint, chemicals and other flammable or hazardous waste. 1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
