Should I cover my dumpster rental if it rains?
Yes, cover the roll off container if you’re expecting rain or snow during your rental period. We recommend securing a tarp over the top with bungee cords or tie-down straps. If left uncovered, standing water will pool in the bin and make your load heavier. This is especially true if you’re tossing carpet, upholstered furniture and other absorbent materials. Remember your roll off dumpster has a weight limit, and exceeding it will result in extra fees.
Where is a good place to keep my roll off dumpster?
Schedule delivery to a flat, paved surface near your work area. If you’re working at home, your driveway is usually the best spot for a dumpster rental. On construction sites, the bin should be placed in a designated waste area away from large equipment to maintain safety.
