Should I be present for my roll off dumpster delivery?
No, you don’t have to be there when your dumpster rental arrives. Just make sure the drop-off location is accessible and clear before we get there. Move cars, equipment and other potential obstacles out of the way. You should also open any entry gates to your property. Don’t have enough room for a roll off container on-site? Street placement is possible, but you may need a permit from the town of Canton first. When you place an order, we’ll share more delivery tips.
What if it rains during my dumpster rental period?
Cover your bin if you’re expecting rain or snow while renting a dumpster. Throw a tarp over the top and secure it with bungee cords or tie-down straps. If left uncovered, standing water may pool in your container and add weight to your debris. This is especially true if you’re tossing upholstered furniture, dirt and other absorbent materials. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
