How should I load my roll off dumpster?
The best way to fill a roll off container is to walk your items inside through the loading door. Start by placing large or heavy items first, spreading them apart to distribute the weight evenly. Then, you can toss small and light objects over the sides. Before you schedule a pickup, make sure your debris is level with the top of the bin. There should be nothing draped over the sides or sticking out the top. Overfilling your dumpster and going over the weight limit can result in extra fees.
Will I need to get a permit for my dumpster rental?
You don’t need a permit to keep your roll off container on private property. We recommend keeping your bin in your driveway when you’re working on a residential project. On construction sites, choose a spot away from large equipment. If you plan to keep your dumpster rental in the street or blocking the public right-of-way, you may need a permit from the city of Clemson’s Public Works Department.
