Do I need to be present for my dumpster rental delivery?
No, you don't need to be there when we deliver your roll off dumpster. Just be sure to keep the drop-off area clear and accessible for the entire day. Move parked cars, large equipment and other obstacles out of the way. Unlock any necessary gates for our driver. You can lay down plywood or set up cones to mark the spot, but you don't have to. Keeping your roll off container in the street? Check with the village of Clinton's Department of Public Works to see if you need a permit ahead of time.
When I rent a dumpster, is there a right way to load it?
The most efficient way to load your dumpster rental is by starting with your heavier and bulkier items, like bricks or furniture. Walk them through the dumpster door and spread them evenly throughout the space. You can also collect debris like dirt and concrete with a wheelbarrow and roll it inside. Then, throw lighter materials in over the sides of your bin or walk them inside. 3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
