Can my roll off dumpster go in the street?
We can deliver your dumpster rental to the street, but you’ll need to get a Right-of-Way Permit from Schoharie County ahead of time. You don’t need a permit to place your bin on private property, such as a driveway or jobsite. Make sure your delivery spot is a flat, paved surface away from any potential obstacles. Our experts will assist you with delivery and placement when you rent a dumpster.
What if it rains while my dumpster rental is on-site?
Cover your bin if you’re expecting storms while renting a dumpster. Secure a tarp over the top with bungee cords or tie-down straps so the wind doesn’t blow it away. Standing water can pool in your roll off container and add weight to absorbent materials. This includes dirt, carpet and upholstered furniture.
