Frequently Asked Questions

Should I be home for delivery or pickup?

When you rent a dumpster from us, you do not need to be home for delivery or pickup, as long as the area has been prepared ahead of time. Make sure there are no obstacles blocking the placement location, such as cars, debris and construction equipment. You can also use traffic cones or plywood to mark the drop-off spot for our driver. On pickup day, keep the area accessible and confirm that all debris is below the top of your roll off container. Call us for more delivery tips and guidelines.

Where should I place my dumpster?

When you call to rent a dumpster, we'll discuss the best drop-off location for your project. Our containers should be kept on a smooth, flat surface with no overhead obstacles. A driveway is normally the best spot for home projects. If you don’t have space in your driveway or if it’s on an incline, we may be able to place the dumpster in the street. If you need to put your bin in the street, contact the Chisago County Public Works Department to see if a right-of-way permit is required in your area.

How It Works

1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
