Should I cover my roll off dumpster if it rains?
If you’re expecting inclement weather during your dumpster rental period, covering your container can help avoid adding weight to your debris. This is especially important if you are disposing of absorbent materials such as carpet or dirt. The easiest way to cover your bin is to throw a tarp over the top and secure it using bungee cords so the wind doesn't blow it away. Exceeding your dumpster's maximum weight limit may result in additional charges.
Where should I keep my dumpster rental?
Your roll off dumpster should be placed on a flat, firm area, such as a parking lot or driveway. On construction sites, keep your bin in a designated area free of equipment. You may also be able to keep your container in the street, though a Miscellaneous Work Permit from Chisago County may be required. 2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
